Walnut Skini Compact

The Walnut Skini Compact is Origin Handcrafted's field dressing knife, cut from antique sawmill blade steel and fitted with a black walnut handle. Marc Liss pins the handle on brass bolts and grinds a 70-millimetre edge, then makes each one to order in Balmoral, Manitoba, a village north of Winnipeg. Origin Handcrafted designs and builds every piece in that same workshop, so the knife never crosses a border before it reaches you. Expect to wait, since nothing here comes off a shelf.
