Popov Leather cuts the Traditional Bifold from thick full-grain leather in its Ymir Road workshop in Nelson, British Columbia, and saddle-stitches it by hand with waxed Tiger thread from Julius Koch. Saddle stitching runs two needles on one thread, so a broken stitch does not unravel the seam. The leather comes from North American hides tanned at outside tanneries. This is the shop's flagship wallet, cut to what the company calls the real carry size. It gets darker with use.
Origin
Made (cut and stitched) in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. The full-grain leather comes from North American hides tanned at outside tanneries, and the waxed thread is made by Julius Koch in Germany.
