Ryan Popoff cut his first wallet as a hobby after art school, and he and his wife Jill ran the whole company from the basement of their house for the first couple of years. The workshop moved to Ymir Road and now employs 18 people. Nelson has no leather trade behind it, and the shop is here because the Popoffs live here.
