The Madrock is NONIA's own design, a unisex fisherman knit carrying a variety of cables and stitches, with raglan sleeves and a crew neck. One of about 140 knitters makes each sweater by hand at home somewhere in Newfoundland and Labrador, then it comes back to the store in St. John's to be sold. The wool is 100%. NONIA has worked this way since 1920, when the knitting paid for nurses in communities that had none.

Made (hand-knit) in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, by one of about 140 knitters working in their own homes. Sold from NONIA's store in St. John's. NONIA does not state where its wool is spun.
