Briggs & Little spins Country Roving at its mill in York Mills, New Brunswick, from fleece it buys direct from Canadian farmers and through the Canadian Cooperative Wool Growers. The yarn is 100% wool in five strands, 155 yards to a 227 gram skein, and it knits at eleven stitches to four inches on 7.5mm needles. Canadian Olympians wore sweaters knit from it at the closing ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Sixteen shades are available.
