Anián designs the Field Coat in Victoria, British Columbia, and cuts and sews it in Vancouver, a separate step in a separate city. The cloth is milled in Prato, Italy, which is a question about the material rather than about where the coat was made. Anián keeps these stages distinct rather than folding them into one claim, and its own materials describe the cloth only as melton wool, without naming a weight or finish.
