St. John's

NONIA has sold hand knits from St. John's since it was founded in 1920, but almost none of the knitting happens in the city. Wool goes out to about 140 knitters working in their own homes around Newfoundland and Labrador, and the finished sweaters and caps come back to the shop. The address on the label is St. John's. The knitting is spread across the province.
